The Redlands Institute (RI) applies GIScience expertise and technology support to
a wide array of projects and educational experiences. Their core research focus
is to enhance the quality of decision making by applying geospatial science and
technology to local, regional and global issues. The RI supports the University's
mission of education, research, and community outreach and serves as a resource
for departments and programs across the campus, often working in teams with faculty,
