There is an initial application fee of $40 which is to be submitted with
your application. After you are accepted into the program, there is a non-refundable
deposit of $200 which is due approximately three months prior to the program
start date, and an additional deposit of $2,800 which is due approximately
two months prior to the program start date. The full amount of $3,000 will be applied
toward your total tuition. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use financial
aid or student loan money to pay these deposits as the financial aid and student loan
money does not fund until just a few days prior to the program start date.
The tuition for the one-year program (effective July 1, 2012) is
$41,385. Tuition includes the following benefits:
-
One
high-end laptop computer for the personal use of each student for the duration
of the program AND which becomes the personal property of the student upon the completion
of the program. These computers will be configured for efficient use of all current
ArcGIS desktop components and will have at least 0.5 gigabyte of RAM, high end graphics,
wired and wireless networking capability. These laptops will be maintained by University
staff during the program to ensure they continue to function correctly.
-
Access
to a wide range of software for the laptops including the full suite of Esri
products, Microsoft Office and several other Microsoft products including Visio
and Visual Basic.
-
At least 15 days of professional Esri instructor-led training (a $7,500
value).
A large selection of books from Esri Press.
Unlimited access to Esri Virtual Campus courses during the program (worth
$100 each).
- Upon completion of the program,
you will receive a copy of the current version of ArcView plus two extensions,
as a graduation gift from Jack Dangermond.
Students are responsible for all travel, living expenses, and textbooks.
